MUSA is led by Dr. Mahesh Shetty. He is a fellow of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. His expertise in mammography has earned him distinction as a published thought leader, a Clinical Professor, and the founder of a multinational nonprofit service organization that provides no cost screening access to women in low resource countries. Having interpreted nearly 100,000 breast cases in his career, Dr. Shetty maintains a passionate dedication to his practice and advocates internationally on the importance of breast cancer screening and diagnosis. He has authored several publications in Women's imaging and Mammography and has serve as the guest Editor of two issues of the Seminars in Ultrasound, CT and MRI focusing on Radiation Safety issues in Computed Tomographic use in Medicine and Breast Cancer Screening and Imaging. He was formerly the Director of Mammography at Ben-Taub General Hospital and Academic Chief, section of GU radiology, at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Shetty is a Past President of the Houston Radiological Society and the South East Texas Chapter of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. In the past he has served as the Program director of CME Conferences on Ultrasound, Mammography, and Women's Health in the USA and in India. He has been an invited speaker at National and International Medical Conferences. He serves on the Advisory Board of International experts in the Women's Imaging Online community of the American Roentgen Ray Society. The American Board of Radiology has named him an Examiner for the Board Certification examinations. He was elected as a Fellow in the Society of Breast Imaging in 2008 and a Fellow of the American College of Radiology in 2010. Dr Shetty in his capacity as an International Volunteer Visiting Professor has delivered lectures and conducted workshops in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America on topics in Breast and Women' Imaging. Dr Shetty has served as the Co-director of a Charity Medical clinic in Southwest Houston responsible for the Well Woman Clinic section of the nonprofit entity from 2009 to 2011. He now serves on the Editorial Board of the Seminars in US, CT& MRI. Dr Shetty was recently nominated a Fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and now holds the honor shared by a handful of Radiologists of being nominated a Fellow in three of the largest Radiology professional organizations in the USA.

Mike Sanaty
Mike began his education in aircraft engineering by attending Northrop Institute of Technology and continued in flight engineering school in Germany, England and France. He continued his career as a flight engineer for an international airline and for U.S. Airways. Throughout his aviation career he had a keen interest in business development. In 1997 Mike entered the healthcare industry and soon discovered his passion to develop healthcare ventures.He began his career in the healthcare sector with Nuclear Imaging of Texas and was an integral part of the development of Excel Diagnostic Imaging Clinics, which during his 8 years of business development and marketing grew to be one of the largest nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging centers in Houston. He was then approached by Altus Healthcare Management for a position to help them develop a cancer care venture in Texas. Mike was responsible for the growth of the Oncology department and cancer treatment services to the existing market share they currently hold. He initiated and developed several business ventures within the Oncology and Radiation services to benefit the company’s growth and local oncology practices as well.
